Turn off the breaker that supplies power to the light switch. This is finished from the main breaker box outside the house.
Remove the screws on the front of the sunshine switch plate. Remove the cover and set it aside.
Take out the screws which are holding the switch inside the light switch box. Pull the switch a number of inches away from the box.
Use small pieces of tape to label the wires. It will allow you to remember methods to properly connect each wire to its respective screw.
Loosen the screws with a screwdriver. Use needle nose pliers to pull the wires away from the screws.
Loosen the screws on the back of the brand new light switch and place the suitable wires under them. Tighten the screws down onto the wires.
Place the switch back inside the box and place the two screws in place and tighten them. Replace the switch plate and attach with screws.
